Apple TV 4K: Stream Everything on Your Big Screen

Apple TV is a small box that sends streaming video to your TV. You connect it to Wi-Fi, sign in with your Apple Account, and download apps from the App Store. Netflix, YouTube, and Apple’s own shows sit in one menu. Apple TV 4K models play 4K video with HDR, and AirPlay lets you send a video from your iPhone to the big screen. One remote handles the rest. READ MORE

Latest iPhone Rumors

Here's my honest take: Apple loading up the iPhone 20 with this much change at once, under display Face ID, solid state buttons, a custom modem, a homegrown image sensor, a whole new curved-glass design, feels less like innovation and more like Apple finally admitting it's been coasting.

For years, the "S-cycle" mentality of small yearly tweaks worked because Apple didn't need to prove anything; loyal users upgraded anyway.

But foldables from Samsung, camera systems from Google's Pixel line, and the general sense that smartphones have gotten boring have clearly spooked Cupertino.

The 20th-anniversary framing is smart marketing, sure, but it's also a tell, Apple needs a "moment" because the last several launches haven't given people one.

My real skepticism, though, isn't about whether Apple can build this stuff; it's whether cramming that many first-generation technologies into one device at once is wise.

Under display Face ID alone has slipped for years for a reason: it's hard. Bundling it with a new sensor, a new modem, and a new battery chemistry in a single launch is the kind of ambition that usually means at least one of those features quietly disappears from the final spec sheet, or ships half-baked. If I had to bet, the glass redesign survives.

The under display camera is the one I'd watch closely; that's where "iPhone 20" rumors have a habit of turning into "iPhone 21" rumors. READ MORE>

Apple's $2,000 iPhone Duo Might Be Apple's Most Honest First-Gen Product Yet

Here's my take, and it's a genuinely optimistic one: Apple usually enters new categories late but leaves competitors looking unfinished, and the Duo looks like it's about to do that again. The standout detail isn't the price tag, it's that reviewers walked away unable to find the crease on the unfolded screen, which is the single biggest complaint foldable owners have had for years. That's not marketing polish, that's Apple actually solving the hardware problem everyone else settled for. And the software side backs it up: iOS 27 was clearly built around the fold from day one, with things like split-screen multitasking and a "seated" mode for propping the phone up to watch video, features that feel considered rather than bolted on. What excites me most is the ecosystem angle. Samsung has the multitasking refinement, sure, but Apple's whole advantage has always been how deeply its hardware and software talk to each other, and a foldable is the perfect stage for that. If the durability holds up the way the crease-free display already has, Apple may have just leapfrogged years of foldable growing pains in one launch. That's a genuinely exciting place for the category to be heading. READ MORE >

Xbox Just Became Gaming's Billionaire Ex Who Picks Up Your Abandoned Projects

Sony didn't just lose a game. It handed Xbox a gift it didn't even have to fight for. Kojima's action-espionage project Physint has moved from PlayStation to Xbox after Sony decided to cancel the project. And Kojima wasn't exactly quiet about how that went down: the studio spent roughly three months hunting for a new publisher after getting blindsided. That's not a graceful parting of ways. That's a scramble. READ MORE >

OpenAI Just Cut Cursor's Cord, and Musk Couldn't Care Less

This isn't really about API access. It's about two men who used to build the same company now running it into the ground publicly, with customers caught in the middle. OpenAI's statement leans hard on Musk's legal history, which reads less like a business decision and more like a receipt being handed over in court of public opinion. Cursor users lose a frontier model over a fight they didn't start.

SpaceX stock rising anyway tells you investors have already priced in the feud as background noise. The real story is Musk building an empire fast enough that lawsuits can't slow it down...READ MORE >
